Meta Launches Reminder Ads On Instagram

Meta has launched a new ad format for the Instagram platform - Reminder Ads. This new ad format is designed to allow businesses to easily promote, remind and notify people of an upcoming event. This could be something like a live event or a product launch.

How do Reminder Ads work?

Reminder Ads work when a user opts in using the ad CTA to receive reminders about the event. They will then receive three notifications from Instagram - one a day before the event, one 15 minutes before the event and one at the time of the event.

Who can use Reminder Ads?

After a successful experiment with brands such as Starz, the new ad format is now available to all advertisers as an option in the Instagram Feed.
